Johnson Controls: Family Day, June 2007

Through the internal communication program we designed to help the staff of Johnson Controls understand each other and enhance their team spirit. This Family Day Program is a one day event; people enjoy the one day event to share experience and information with their family members and their colleagues’ family members as well.

We organized the event. We booked the hall, made all the arrangements for the hotel, ensured press and visitors would arrive, chaired the ceremony, and ensured the room was cleaned after to minimize cost to our client. The press was enthusiastic:

A delegation of the Board of Trustees of the 125 year-old University of Southern California (USC) makes a historic trip to China. The trip is designed to further existing connections in China, establish and expand academic relationships, stimulate student recruitment and engage with alumni and parents of USC students.

This year’s visit was the USC Trustees conducted their first-ever formal board meeting to be held in China. In Beijing, president Sample announced that Madame Lei Jieqiong, who received a master’s degree in sociology from USC in 1931, has been selected by the trustees as USC’s International Alumna of the 20th Century. As USC’s PR agency responsible for the related arrangements, such as media invitation, press release drafting, event on-site support and media monitor.
